Napoli sent shockwaves through the football world with last season’s incredible Serie A triumph, their second in three years. Today, we’ll check out their Serie A outright odds, along with some of the other leading candidates.
Scott McTominay went from unwanted at Manchester United to Ballon d’Or candidate at Napoli. Now, Antonio Conte and the Partenopei will try to win consecutive titles for the first time in their history.
Inter Milan blew the Scudetto down the stretch last season. Then, coach Simone Inzaghi left for Saudi Arabia at the end of the season. They’re still contenders for the title and heavy hitters like AC Milan and Juventus should also be in the mix.
Ahead of this weekend’s Serie A opening fixtures, we’ll take a look at the full odds board and share our best soccer bet.
Serie A Outright Odds: Favorites

Napoli had Serie A’s best defense last season. The champions conceded eight goals fewer than any other team in the league. Their backline could be even better this year, as they added former Bologna center back Sam Beukema.
One could argue they weren’t a good offensive team last season, and that could catch up to them. However, Kevin De Bruyne should certainly help Napoli create chances. He’s one of the best Premier League players of all time.
The Man City legend is linking up with his Belgium teammate Romelu Lukaku, who he’s known for years. De Bruyne is not as dynamic as he once was, but he’s still an incredible playmaker. Napoli also added Noa Lang and Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca.
Lukaku found the back of the net 14 times last season and led the league in assists, with 10. He and Scott McTominay were instrumental in Napoli’s success, as McTominay also scored 12 Serie A goals.
The former Manchester United midfielder won the Serie A Player of the Year Award. He’s at his best when he’s free to make late runs into the box. Unfortunately, Lukaku is out injured for 3-4 months and Lucca will have to step up.
While Napoli look better on paper now than they did last season, there’s still some cause for concern. Antonio Conte is notoriously demanding to play for. Not having European competition last season was a huge advantage for Napoli. Now, they’ll have to manage their Serie A schedule and the Champions League.
That could be a tough ask, and no team has successfully defended the Scudetto since Juventus in 2019-20.
That’s something to keep in mind before taking their +170 Serie A outright odds.
Serie A Outright Odds: Top Contenders

Inter Milan had a second straight title within their grasp, but blew it down the stretch. A 2-2 draw against Lazio on the penultimate Matchday proved to be fatal. The Nerazzurri also humiliatingly fell 5-0 to PSG in the Champions League final to seal a trophy-less campaign.
Now, Simone Inzaghi is off to Saudi Arabia and former Inter player Cristian Chivu is Inter’s coach. Chivu is not very experienced at the senior level. So, this could be a down season for an aging Inter Milan side.
Inter sit at +270 Serie A outright odds. However, there’s a sense that Chivu may be in way over his head here. An uninspiring FIFA Club World Cup performance, where Inter lost 2-0 to Fluminense in the round of 16, did nothing to dispel that notion.
Meanwhile, Inter’s rivals AC Milan (+550) had an awful season in 2024-25. Their eighth-place finish was their worst for ten years. With pragmatic coach Max Allegri taking over and a lack of European football this season, they should be able to do much better.
Their new defensive signings Koni De Winter and Pervis Estupiñan have big shoes to fill, though. Malick Thiaw, Pierre Kalulu, Theo Hernandez, and Emerson Royal have all left the club on permanent deals this summer.
Tijjani Reijnders also left for Manchester City as the Rossoneri had to retool their midfield with the likes of Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric.
Juventus (+550) are hoping that former Lille man Jonathan David is the striker they need to take them to the next level. Still, Juve seem to lack creativity and dynamism outside of youngster Kenan Yildiz and they don’t have the look of a Scudetto-winning side.
Expect Champions League qualification from the Bianconeri and nothing more.
Dark Horses

Gian Piero Gasperini left Atalanta for AS Roma after nine seasons at the helm in Bergamo. Claudio Ranieri laid the groundwork for Gasperini to be successful. After Ranieri took over the Giallorossi last November, he helped them climb from 13th to fifth in Serie A.
No team won more games than Roma during that span. They equalled Napoli and Inter, with 56 points during that time. The sky’s the limit for Roma under Gasperini.
All of Artem Dovbyk, Paulo Dybala, Matias Soule, Stephan El Shaarawy, and Evan Ferguson are in line for minutes in forward areas. Roma do have to play in the Europa League, which Gasperini won with Atalanta in 2024, but they could make waves in Serie A as well.
They are at +1300 Serie A outright odds to win their first Scudetto since 2001.
It’ll be interesting to see how Atalanta (+1800) do without Gasperini at the helm. Atalanta finished in third place last season and there could be a drop off. New coach Ivan Juric got sacked at both Roma and Southampton just in the last 12 months.
La Dea still have a lot of talent, but they just lost Serie A leading scorer Mateo Retegui to Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. Ademola Lookman has also tried to force his way out of the club. It may take some time for Atalanta to find their stride, but they’ll challenge for the European places.
Lazio (+3300) are another interesting case. Maurizio Sarri, who guided Lazio to a second-place finish in 2022-23, is back at the helm. They’re not in UEFA competition and their core group has remained largely the same. If Sarri can sort out the defense they could be legitimate contenders.
Longshots

Fiorentina don’t have a title-winning defense but they’ve made some interesting additions this summer. Midfielders Simon Sohm, Nicolo Fagioli, and Jacopo Fazzini all joined permanently. So too did experienced striker Edin Dzeko. With Dzeko, Moise Kean, and Albert Gudmundsson, the Viola have a proficient frontline.
Even with these additions and former AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli taking over, +5000 Serie A outright odds seem about right.
Bologna (+6500) won their first major trophy for 51 years, when they defeated AC Milan 1-0 in the Coppa Italia Final. The Rossoblu seem to lose their best players season-after-season. Still, they manage to remain competitive.
Winger Dan Ndoye and center back Sam Beukema left the club in the transfer window. So, Bologna project to finish anywhere from fifth to tenth.
Como (+8000) returned to Serie A in 2024-25, for the first time in 21 years. Cesc Fabregas’ side even managed to finish in the top half of the table.
This summer, Como spent more than any other Serie A team in the transfer market. They spent over €20 million on Real Betis’ young winger Jesus Rodriguez. Como also spent over €10 million on Nicolas Kuhn, Martin Baturina, Jayden Addai, and Maximo Perrone to round out their squad.
Alvaro Morata also joined on loan from AC Milan. The experienced striker gives them a legitimate presence up front. Como should continue to progress this season, but winning the Serie A title seems a bit far-fetched.

Serie A Outright Odds: Best Value Bet

Napoli strengthened their team this Summer. So, it’s clear to see why they are title favorites. However, it’s never easy to defend the title. Lukaku’s injury could mean they start slow.
Serie A has been somewhat of a wide-open league since Juventus fell off at the turn of the decade. Inter Milan are getting some love from oddsmakers. However, there’s no guarantee they’re even in the title race under an inexperienced manager.
Meanwhile, AC Milan don’t have to worry about the Champions League this season and Max Allegri is a highly pragmatic coach. He won Serie A in 2010-11 with AC Milan and also guided Juventus to five straight titles from 2015 to 2019.
It looks like Milan will sign Victor Boniface. He played an important role in Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten Bundesliga campaign two years ago. Boniface is the striker Milan have been missing. With him, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic, they now have a formidable frontline.
Modric will provide leadership and experience. He’s still a high level player even though he’s pushing 40. If things go right, AC Milan can run away with the title this season.
So, get them at +550 odds while you still can.
